Privacy policy

This page explains what The Strategic Gato (Strategic Gato LLC) collects when you visit wrzurgato.com or buy from us, why we collect it, and who else handles it. Questions go to info@wrzurgato.com.

When you place an order

Checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment details. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.

We receive the order itself, and we pass your name, shipping address, email and phone number to Printful, who prints and ships it. Both handle your information under their own policies: Stripe and Printful.

When you join the email list

Your email address is stored with Sender, the service that sends our emails, and used for news about the shop and new drops. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

What your browser keeps

The site stores a few things in your own browser: what is in your bag, whether you have closed a popup or unlocked a discount, and, if you arrived from a link tagged with a campaign (an ad, for example), which campaign that was, for 30 days. These live in your browser’s local storage and clearing the site’s data removes them. When you check out, the campaign tag is attached to your order so we can tell which ads lead to sales.

Advertising measurement

We use the Meta pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. It records the pages and products you view, items added to your bag, checkouts started, and completed purchases with their value. Meta may set cookies and connect this activity to your Meta account, and uses it to measure our ads and to show them to people who have visited the site.

You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, through the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info, or with a browser or extension that blocks tracking. The rest of the site works the same either way.

Hosting

Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure it.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information to data brokers or mailing lists. The site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for fulfilment, returns, tax and accounting. Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

Your choices

Email info@wrzurgato.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Some order records have to be kept for tax purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
